The controversial Abia Pdp critics, Onwuka Chimezie popularly known as ‘Mezie Abia has lamented on the recent developments of police brutality in and within Abia state.

Mezie Abia who made this statement via his social media handler, following the assault of Mr Ephraim Promise also known as Tompa, stated that Mr Ephraim Promise is one young man who doesn’t look for troubles, the police brutality in Aba is becoming intense.

Earlier before the statement there has been uproar by Abia netizens, alleging that Tompa was beaten and bundled like a common criminal, some went further to ask who ordered the arrest Tompa, and if this has to do with his support for Abia PDP.

Mezie wrote: “I just learnt that those RRS in Aba this afternoon, blocked Tompa on the way, manhandled him and then bundled him into their vehicle like a common criminal.

“Ephraim Promise is one young man who doesn’t look for troubles, the police brutality in Aba is becoming intense. The Abia State commissioner of police and all the relevant authorities should caution the ABA RRS guys.

“Innocent people are being manhandled and framed up by those RRS guys in Aba. The reports about them have become much.

“Give them small money, and they will harass those you don’t like and frame them up. That is the case here.

“Aba RRS should release TOMPA.” He ended.
