Betrayal for Political Gain: Chima Oriaku's Attempt to Disavow the Truth by Obinna Oriaku | #NwokeukwuMascot

I Obinna Oriaku stand by whatever I have said concerning this incident that led to the sack of my brother Chima Oriaku . I just discovered that he has been pressurised  to recant and disclaim personal discussions we had over the inglorious way and manner he was disgraced out of office last month .

Chima Oriaku wants to rubbish my own image because of transient political appointment which is not even guaranteed.  I am not discouraged by his betrayal for a plate of beans.

The very day this incident happened, as early as 5.30 am, Chima called to explain what has just happened and how he is reaching out to Labour party leaders to reach out to the Governor and beg him to change his mind as the implications will look as if he committed fraud while he served. He told me he had reached out to Dee Chidi Ajaegbu who is reaching out and other leaders at Osisioma. 

We have spoken over 5 times since that incident and he told me how radio and TV  stations have been calling him to state his own part of the story.  He said he will shut his mount as the Governor has promised him executive Chairman position.  I advised him against hopping on such especially considering the way he was disgraced out of office .

He even thanked me for holding forte for him instead of the public to being  fed with stories that never happened as regards his sack 

He insisted that the reason for his sack was insisting on knowing what transpired in his Ministry as he never knew anything about N2 7b as Commissioner for Science and Technology.

This morning being 9th of August 2023 , precisely at about 6.52 am   Chima Oriaku called me asking  to please tune down the circumstance of his sack as he has been promised Chairmanship position of Osisioma.  This was fall out of my radio engagement at Enyimba radio yesterday anchored by Mich Oni where I challenged the Government to get the sacked  Commissioner of Science and Technology and the office of the Deputy Governor's office disclaim these issues .

When the issues are up , we will compel MTN to publish our communications on these days to prove that Chima can sell his mother for political office. 

Immediately i saw this disclaimer few seconds ago on one platform , I also called Chima asking him if thats the route he has decided to take on this issue. He claimed he instructed his aide to do a mail but has not seen the content which I find funny. 

This is how quest for power has led a brother to take responsibility of for what he never knew. This is very unconscionable indeed. 

Unfortunately, he does not know that many of us have him on tape even in several meetings where he has denied even knowing anything about N2.7b which resulted to his sack .

He is also not aware that a petition is heading to ICPC on these issues. He has taken responsibility and he will show evidence of these ICT infrastructure. 

Chima , I have built a reputation as a sincere and truthful person on trading issues of governance in the state which you know very well. You cannot change it now as it’s already late in the day .

Your quest and desire for chairmanship of Osisoma local government has resulted to your throwing me under the bus , ask those that have taken this route , they are usually abandoned at the middle of the road. 

Your current posture does not in any way remove the fact that  you complained to me personally on how and what led to your sack from the government. 

It also does not remove the fact that no ICT investment of N2.7 B was made in the state .

We also expect same disclaimer from the office of the Deputy Governor to be sure all of you are on same page of denial.

Obinna Oriaku has gone beyond this kind of blackmail.  As Awolowo said , If we are related, we shall meet again.
