Umuahia, Abia State – The South East Creative Economy is poised for a transformative leap as Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, prepares to host the inaugural South East Creative Economy Summit. Slated for November 21-22, 2024, this groundbreaking event promises to be a pivotal gathering for creative industry practitioners and entrepreneurs across the region.




The Summit, themed 'Intellectual Property, Entertainment Technology and Wealth Creation: Imperatives for Enhancing the South East Creative Economy,' aims to bridge the gap between the current status of the South East's creative industry and its immense potential. Organized by a consortium of industry stakeholders led by Ojemba Media & Entertainment Limited, the Summit seeks to foster growth, innovation, and sustainable development within the sector.





At the heart of the Summit's agenda is a focus on intellectual property, a critical element for safeguarding the creative works of artists, filmmakers, musicians, and other creative professionals.
