The Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended heartfelt felicitations to two of its foremost leaders, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, and Senator Theodore Ahamefule Orji (CON), former Governor of Abia State, as they mark their birthday anniversaries.
In a goodwill message personally signed by the State Chairman of the party, Elder Abraham Amah, the PDP described both leaders as “distinguished statesmen whose lives of service, mentorship, and commitment to the ideals of democracy continue to inspire generations within and beyond Abia State.”
The statement praised Chief Ugochukwu for his exemplary public service and intellectual contributions to Nigeria’s political and economic development, as well as his steadfast loyalty to the PDP and its progressive vision. It equally commended Senator Orji for his remarkable legacy as a former Governor of Abia State, a former Senator of the Federal Republic, and a consistent voice of leadership, unity, and development within the party.
“Both leaders have, over the years, demonstrated sincere commitment to the growth of our party and the development of Abia State and Nigeria at large, Their outstanding contributions to public service, political mentorship, and the deepening of democracy remain sources of pride and inspiration to all members of our great party.” the statement read.
Elder Amah, speaking on behalf of the State Working Committee, the party’s leadership, and members across the state, prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the celebrants, wishing them good health, wisdom, and renewed strength to keep serving humanity and advancing the progress of Abia State and Nigeria.
The message concluded with warm congratulations to the two party stalwarts, describing them as “illustrious sons of Abia whose legacies of service, humility, and patriotism will continue to inspire the PDP family and the people of the state.”
