Speaking during an enlarged  solidarity meeting organized by Dr John Chikezie at his Umuogele residence, Prof. Agbazuere said the time has come for the people to rise up to the challenge by electing credible candidates that will protect their interest and bring home democracy dividends.

Prof. Agbazuere who doubles as the PDP flag bearer for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency while describing the business of legislation as one that requires experience, dexterity, sagacity and capacity, called on the people not to miss this golden opportunity that will usher in massive infrastructural developments in their area as well as turn around their fortunes for the better.

Prof. Agbazuere who is also an International Human Rights and Constitutional Lawyer thanked the people for their massive support towards his aspirations and Dr Chikezie for organizing the meeting in his honour.
Earlier in his welcome address, Dr John Chikezie disclosed that the people of Umuogele Ntigha are PDP and will remain PDP and will support Prof. Uche Ikonne for Governorship, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency and Chief Collins Iheonunekwu for Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency.

Dr Chikezie noted that their stand is based on their  antecedents, qualifications and outstanding leadership prowess.

The PDP candidate for Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency, Chief Chinwendu Rowland, the Deputy Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Hon. Chimereze Nwankwo, the DG, Oweh Campaign Organization, Sir David Ezindu, Chief Peter Asagwara  among other notable personalities accompanied Prof. Agbazuere to the meeting.

The complain of Concerned parent Forum (for School of Nursing and Midwifery in Abia) which was directed to Gov. Alex Otti and copied to security agencies across the state, prompted the investigation which was stalled by Mrs. Nwankego's non-appearance leading to her arrest and detention.
