According to reports emanating online, Igwe Mozambique, the leader of Imo state Ebube Agu, that led his militia team that murdered over 14 Igbo youths in Awomama, had been killed by yet to be identified gunmen. He was killed and thrown inside a pit as seen in the video making wave online.

The complain of Concerned parent Forum (for School of Nursing and Midwifery in Abia) which was directed to Gov. Alex Otti and copied to security agencies across the state, prompted the investigation which was stalled by Mrs. Nwankego's non-appearance leading to her arrest and detention.
