Mr Ubani who is a seasoned writer from Isikor, a village in Mgboko-UMUANUNU ancient kingdom, reputable for producing  eloquent journalists and writers has described the Abia south senator, as the brain behind Mr Peter OBi’s shift from the PDP to the Labour Party.

Recall that Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra state had earlier bought the Presidential interest form of the People’s Democratic Party, which he later decamped from the party to the Labour Party after he sensed that the drift of the minority party, the PDP won’t favour him.

According to a Facebook post credited to mr Ubani, he wrote: “If Peter Obi emerges as the Nigerian President, Only the mentioning of Abaribe's name many public political office doors will unlock.

“Abaribe was the brain behind Peter Obi choosing labour party to continue his presidential race, after he noted that PDP couldn't give him that room to actualize his political interest. 

“To Obi's conviction, Abaribe further explained to him that Labour Party has not being polarized by any corrupt practices by the politicians and it's seems like a virgin political party to the eye of every Nigerian added with his political antecedent and track records. Whilst, Labour Party wouldn't been seen as a regional party in the eyes of the Northerners.
