Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has commended the Management and Players of Enyimba International Football Club of Aba for their qualification for the Final Super Six Competition of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Last Sunday in Ibadan, Enyimba played a draw against Shooting Stars Club to pick the qualification spot for the Super Six Competition.

Enyimba will now join Rivers United FC, Remo Stars, Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars and Bendel Insurance FC to compete in the Super Six Finals to determine the 3 teams that will represent Nigeria in the CAF Continental Competitions for the next football season.

Governor Ikpeazu expressed delight that Enyimba FC has continued to remain strong in the Nigerian Soccer League and challenged them not only to qualify for Continental Football next year but to win the Super Six Competition, assuring them that the State Government and the people of Abia State will continue to support them.
