Hon Chinedum Orji’s 8-Man Faction of Abia Assembly caution heads of Govt Agencies Against Honouring Unauthorized Summons | #NwokeukwuMascot

Rt.Hon Chinedum Orji’s factions of Abia State House of Assembly has cautioned heads of government agencies, department and Parastatals to ignore summons from unauthorized persons with the name of the House.

In a statement on Friday, the Clerk /Permanent Secretary of the House Sir John Pedro Irokansi said any invitation or purported summon that does not have the endorsement of the Clerk of the House is illegal and should be dis-countenanced.

Recall that it was earlier reported that Hon Apugo’s led faction of the Abia house of Assembly had set up a committee to investigate the Ikpeazu Administration collaborating with EFCC and other sister agencies. Read full story Here

The committee chairman, Hon Obinna Ichita had released a statement regarding the investigation saying it will be a job done within 14 days.

The complain of Concerned parent Forum (for School of Nursing and Midwifery in Abia) which was directed to Gov. Alex Otti and copied to security agencies across the state, prompted the investigation which was stalled by Mrs. Nwankego's non-appearance leading to her arrest and detention.
