Abia Governor, Alex Otti sets up panel of Inquiry to recover purported state property and funds | #NwokeukwuMascot

Abia state Government in a letter directed to Hon. Justice Florence Ikwuoma Dureha-Igwe and Office of the Chief Judge of the state, notified the constitution of a panel of inquiry for recovery of purported state properties and funds.


The letter which was signed by Prof Kenneth Kalu, Secretary to State Government appointed the Chief Justice, Hon Justice Florence Ikwuoma as chairman of the inquiry panel.


The letter from Office of Abia state secretary of state government also announced the appointment of four(4) others; two professors, a clergyman as members of the panel.


The letter captioned, “APPOINTMENT AS CHAIRMAN OF THE JUDICIAL PANEL OF INQUIRY ON THE RECOVERY OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTIES AND FUNDS” further congratulated the Abia chief justice and other members of the panel.


The letter reads in full: “The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr. Aiex C. Otti, (OFR), has approved the constitution of a ludicial Panel of Inquiry on the Recovery of Government Properties and Funds belonging to Abia State.


“In view of the above, I am pleased to convey the Governor's approval appointing Your Lordship as the Chairman of the Panel.


“Membership of the Panel includes: “Hon Justice Florence Ikwuoma Duroha-Igwe as chairman, Prof. Ogwo Ekeoma Ogwo, Prof. Ursula Ngozi Akanwa, Mazi Ugochukwu Oboroafor, Rev. Fr. Barr. Alex Okonkwo as members.


“The Terms of Reference (ToR) as well as date of the inauguration of the Panel will be duly communicated to Your Lordship. Accept our hearty Congratulations!”.
