The Rogues Around Otti by Moses Ayodele Orji | #NwokeukwuMascot

Umeh Kalu, SAN. will soon face the disciplinary committee of the Nigerian Bar Association.

A fraudulent character, like him, is not what Dr. Alex Otti needs to defend his mandate at the Election Petition Tribunal sitting at Umuahia.

It is becoming obvious that the respondents are jittery and now desperately searching for dishonest and dubious technical grounds to avert a free and fair process.

To begin with they "influenced" the relocation of the tribunal venue to inside Government House, Umuahia.

And now, just on the first sitting, Umeh Kalu has assumed the fraudulent status and role of a rogue baillif. He even went further and forged the identity and name of a non-existent litigation clerk.

All these fraudulent procedures were meant to decieve the tribunal into ruling that the PDP and its candidate were not diligent in prosecuting their matter, and consequently strike out their petition.

Is this the kind of character that would usher us into the much touted  New Abia of our Dreams?

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance

and we must all brace up for the challenge of the moment, especially with characters like Umeh Kalu on the prawl. 

The truth is gradually coming out.
