This was contained in a letter which subject is “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST”, from the office of director of Ministry of Health Umuahia.

The letter directed to ‘All doctors, ministry of health Umuahia was signed by Dr Hemuka Rock Biale, Director in charge(For Honourable Commissioner) directing the concerned to re-apply their interest on working with the ministry on or before 21st July 2023 or face dire consequences.

The letter reads in full: “I am directed to inform all Medical Doctors in the State Ministry of Health employ to re-apply expressing their interest on working with the Ministry indicating their willingness to work under the Ministry of Health, Umuahia and Hospitals Management Board (HMB).

“This is in line with the Government vision of delivery healthcare services to all Abians.

“This is expected to be done on or before Friday 21" of July, 2023. This is mandatory to avoid sanction”. the re-application notice ended.
