Akwa Ibom State Governor Visits Super Eagles Players' Camp in Ikot-Ekpene, Expresses Unwavering Support | #NwokeukwuMascot

The Nigerian Super Eagles team, who are to play Falcons and Parrots of São Tomé in the African Cup qualifiers on Sunday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo, were visited at their camp by Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

The Governor, who through his social media posts made his visit public, partly said: “As a football enthusiast and an advocate of unity, I am always thrilled to watch our boys proudly represent Nigeria, showcasing team work, unity, courage, and togetherness.”

The Governors words in full: “I visited the Nigerian Super Eagles team at their camp at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene. They are in the state to host the Falcons and Parrot of São Tomé and Príncipe as they continue their quest in the African Cup of Nations qualifier.

“As a football enthusiast and an advocate of unity, I am always thrilled to watch our boys proudly represent Nigeria, showcasing teamwork, unity, courage, and togetherness. Football unites us all, regardless of our tribe or language. Therefore, it fills me with great pride to welcome the Nigerian Super Eagles to our state.
