Fed.Poly Honours Abia Lawmaker, Erondu Jnr, Iwuanyanwu, Others | #NwokeukwuMascot

Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri Imo state has honoured the lawmaker, representing Obingwa-West State constituency at Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr with the Prestigious Fellowship Award of the institution.

Speaking at the 21st Convocation ceremony of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri recently, the Rector, Dr. Michael C. Arimanwa, extolled Hon. Erondu's commitments towards Human Capital Development in Abia state, selfless humanitarian cum community services and passionate investments in education among others, calling on leaders at all levels to emulate him.

The Rector noted that the Abia Lawmaker has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, hence, the need to honour him with the prestigious Fellowship of the Federal Polytechnic.

In his words: "Your unwavering passion and dedication towards the good of our society and humanity are iconic and quite commendable".

In his acceptance speech, the Abia Lawmaker, Hon Erondu thanked the Rector and management of the institution for the honour, stating that the importance of education in shaping the future of Nigeria cannot be over emphasized.

Other awardees at the event were Chief  Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Chief Leo Stan Ekeh, and Dr Ikechukwu H. Ukwe.
