Victor Osimhen, the prolific Super Eagles striker, has been given the green light by the team's medical staff to participate in the upcoming match against South Africa.


As previously mentioned, Osimhen had to forego the Super Eagles' journey to Bouake due to abdominal discomfort, as reported earlier.


It was stated that the Napoli forward would undergo examination on Tuesday morning, and pending approval, would link up with the rest of the squad, who have already arrived safely in Bouake.

According to sources in Abidjan, Osimhen can now proceed to Bouake after being deemed medically fit by the team's doctors.


During the tournament in Cote d'Ivoire, Osimhen has featured in all five of the Super Eagles' matches, contributing with one goal and one assist.
