In devastating news, a helicopter transporting Herbert Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, tragically crashed in California, claiming his life and the lives of five others.

The chopper was en route to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night, according to sources close to TheWill News.

This fatal accident marks California's second helicopter crash resulting in fatalities in less than a week, as reported by the Daily Mail. The Eurocopter EC 130, carrying a total of six people, crashed near Nipton on the edge of the Mojave Desert late on Friday evening, according to officials.

The incident follows the recent crash of a Navy chopper carrying five troops during a routine training flight in Pine Valley, California. The helicopter crash in San Bernardino County overnight has tragically resulted in the loss of all onboard, with authorities confirming the absence of any survivors.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department was notified about the downed aircraft near Baker shortly after 10 pm on Friday. In their statement, they expressed their inability to confirm the exact number of people on board or their identities.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the crash occurred near Nipton on the edge of the Mojave Desert Preserve, east of the 15 Freeway near Halloran Springs.

The helicopter involved in the crash is registered to Orbic Air, a Burbank-based tour company, according to NBC reports.
