In a recent development, President Bola Tinubu has reached out to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, urging them to soar high in the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament. Speaking via a video call from France, the President motivated the players to strive for victory in the crucial quarter-final clash against Angola this evening.

The heartening video call was shared on his son, Seyi Tinubu’s Instagram story on Friday, February 2.

Nigeria’s clash against Angola marks the beginning of the quarter-final games in the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to kick off at 6 pm today.

The primary objective for Nigeria is to secure a spot in the semi-finals. The victorious team from the Nigeria vs. Angola match on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the 40,000-capacity Peace Stadium in Bouake, will subsequently face the winner of Cape Verde vs. South Africa, which is also set to take place on Friday.
