Update: Nigeria Police Recover Body of Notorious Cultist, Gift Okpara Who Fatally Injured Police DPO(Photos) | #NwokeukwuMascot

The Rivers State police command has successfully located the body of suspected Cultist, Gift Okpara, also known as 2Baba, who was responsible for the death of Divisional Police Officer Bako Angbashin in September 2023.

The corpse is currently being held at the Police Headquarters in Port Harcourt. This development comes shortly after the police previously announced that 2Baba was killed during a joint security operation in Idu-Ekpeye community in Ahoada East, where some of his followers seized his body and fled with it.

According to a police insider who requested anonymity, law enforcement officers recently apprehended some loyalists of the deceased cult leader who led them to a remote forest where his body had been buried.

The remains were successfully exhumed and taken into custody by the security operatives.
