UPDATE: Father of Late Access Holdings CEO, Herbert Wigwe Hospitalized After Collapsing | #NwokeukwuMascot

Shyngle Wigwe, the biological father of the late former Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Dr Herbert Wigwe, collapsed on Saturday and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

This information was shared by Tony Ogbuagu, a popular influencer on X (formerly Twitter), who clarified that Shyngle Wigwe did not pass away as rumored.


In his statement, Ogbuagu wrote, "Herbert Wigwe's father is not dead, please. He only collapsed and has been taken to the hospital. Let's refrain from spreading false news."


The funeral service for Wigwe, his wife Doreen, and their son Chizzy took place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State. 

Recall we had previously reported that the family, who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in the United States, were laid to rest on March 9, 2024, following a combined funeral service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo.


It was revealed that Wigwe and his family members perished in a helicopter crash near the border of Nevada and California in February while en route to Las Vegas to attend Super Bowl 58, an American football competition.


The LVIII Super Bowl took place on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
