Sampson Ahuchaogu Foundation Launches Undergraduate Annual Bursary Program, Empowering Students in Abia State | #NwokeukwuMascot

The Sampson Ahuchaogu Foundation (SAF) is proud to announce the launch of the SAF Undergraduate Annual Bursary Program Board. This initiative aims to provide financial support to undergraduate students from Isiala Ngwa South LGA in Abia State who are currently pursuing their education in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

The SAF Undergraduate Annual Bursary Program is now open for applications for the 2023/2024 academic year. This program offers an excellent opportunity for eligible students to receive assistance in funding their education and achieving their academic goals.

To be eligible for this bursary, applicants must fulfill the following criteria: they must be students from Isiala Ngwa South LGA in Abia State, Nigeria, currently enrolled in a government-owned tertiary institution in Nigeria (from 2nd year to 6th year), and possess a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 and above.

Interested students are encouraged to submit their applications, which should include important documents such as a copy of their admission letter, school ID card, last semester result duly signed by their Head of Department (HOD), local government means of identification, and a personal statement demonstrating financial need.
The esteemed members of the Bursary Board include Professor Joshua Uzoma Ogbonna, Director of the Institute for Continuing Education at Abia State University, serving as the Chairman; Professor Eziuche Amadike Ugbogu, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences at Abia State University, as the Secretary; Prince Dr. Eugene Nwaoha from the Department of Education at ESUT; Wisdom Anucha, a Lecturer at Abia State University; and Paddy Chinkere Anyatonwu.

This opportunity is exclusively available to Isiala Ngwa South indigenes. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2024.
