Osisioma Ngwa PDP Holds Extensive Stakeholders Meeting, Commits to Rebuilding the Party | #NwokeukwuMascot

In preparation for the upcoming Ward and Local Government (LG) congresses, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in Osisioma Ngwa convened yesterday at the residence of the party's Chairman, Elder Sam Njoku.


The meeting featured the Deputy State Chairman of the PDP, Chief Obinna Nwachukwu, who briefed attendees on the party's program and timetable at the state level. Chief Nwachukwu emphasized the importance of unity and strategic planning in the forthcoming political activities.


During the session, Chief Ogumnka Iheanacho, the immediate past Transition Committee Chairman of the Local Government, proposed a motion for the ratification and confirmation of Rt. Hon. Njoku Kennedy Azubuike as the Leader of the Party in the LGA. Chief Iheanacho highlighted the need for leaders to demonstrate true commitment and loyalty to the party. This motion was seconded by Prince Enyinnaya Ubani, the former Commissioner for Petroleum.


Rt. Hon. Njoku Kennedy Azubuike, upon his confirmation, expressed gratitude for the stakeholders' confidence in his leadership. He urged all members to put aside personal differences and grievances for the sake of unity and collective progress within the party.


Elder Emma Nduagu also addressed the gathering, urging all stakeholders to rally around the newly confirmed leader to ensure genuine progress.

The meeting was well-attended by notable stakeholders, including Chief Ihezuoke Ufomba (LG Party Chairman), Hon. Young Onyike, Barrister Ekele Nwaohamuo, Barrister Emeka Onyenso, Chief Joe Ohaja, Barrister I. C. Mark, and Elder Emeka Ahuruonye, among others. Additionally, all former office holders within the party were present, reflecting a strong show of support for the party's rebuilding efforts.


The stakeholders' meeting marks a significant step in the PDP's efforts to strengthen its base and prepare for future political engagements in Osisioma Ngwa.
