Peter Obi Condemns Abia Speaker for Failing to Swear in Aaron Uzodike (Video) | #NwokeukwuMascot

 Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party's Presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, has strongly criticized the failure of the Abia State House of Assembly Speaker to swear in Aaron Uzodike.

Obi highlighted this as a glaring example of the executive and judiciary's disregard for the rule of law.

During his speech at the 5th memorial lecture for Justice Anthony Nnaemeze Aniagolu at Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu on Tuesday, Obi called on well-meaning Nigerians to join forces in dismantling such acts of impunity.

He emphasized that Nigeria's progress hinges on a collective commitment to uphold the rule of law, which is essential for building a prosperous future for all citizens.

Obi's remarks underscore his ongoing advocacy for legal and democratic reforms in Nigeria, reinforcing the importance of integrity and justice in governance.
