Mohhbad: Born 1996, Died Sept 12, 2023 

The autopsy conducted on the late singer Mohbad has provided insights into the potential causes of his death, though the findings remain inconclusive. The results, obtained from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) and shared by TheCable Lifestyle on Thursday, revealed no definitive cause of death.

Samples from Mohbad's gastric content, blood, bone marrow, liver, kidney, and lung were collected for a comprehensive toxicology analysis. Despite this extensive examination, the autopsy report indicated that there were "no significant gross findings" that could directly explain the singer's death.

The toxicology report highlighted the presence of Diphenhydramine, an antihistamine commonly used to treat allergy symptoms, stomach issues, colds, and anxiety. However, the concentration of Diphenhydramine found in Mohbad's system was not within a fatal or lethal range, ruling out an overdose as the immediate cause of death.

While the precise cause of death remains undetermined, the report suggested that a drug reaction could not be ruled out, considering the post-mortem and toxicology findings. This leaves open the possibility that Mohbad might have had an adverse reaction to a drug, even though no significant markers were found during the autopsy.

Born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, the artist known as Mohbad passed away under mysterious circumstances on September 12 and was buried the following day. His body was exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy, which was promptly carried out the same day. The police had been awaiting these results to further their investigation into his untimely death.

On September 14, shortly after Mohbad's death, his father, Joseph Aloba, disclosed that his son had died following an injection administered by an "auxiliary nurse." This revelation has fueled further speculation and demands for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the singer's death.

The ambiguous results of the autopsy have left many questions unanswered. The lack of definitive findings has heightened public interest and concern, with calls for more detailed investigations. The authorities are expected to continue their inquiries to determine whether there were any underlying factors or external influences that contributed to Mohbad's demise.
