In a surprising turn of events, Finidi George has reportedly resigned from his position as the Head Coach of Nigeria's national football team, the Super Eagles. George's decision comes amidst efforts by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to bring in a foreign Technical Adviser to work alongside him.

Subsequently, Sources close to the NFF revealed that the federation was keen on retaining George as Head Coach while appointing a foreign Technical Adviser to bolster the team's performance.
