Aba, Abia State – Popular content creator Mcee Sweet has issued a formal apology to the Aba Ngwa People’s Forum for his false accusations made last December. Mcee Sweet was arrested after falsely claiming that the Ngwa people were detained by the Abia state government for allegedly demanding money before the construction of the Port Harcourt Road in Aba could proceed.

Several months ago, the situation escalated when Aba Ngwa youths took legal action against Mcee Sweet. He was arrested and brought to court for making a viral video that accused Ngwa youths of obstructing construction work on Port Harcourt Road.

In response to the legal pressure and the community's outrage, Mcee Sweet and his family made multiple appeals for an out-of-court settlement. After several attempts, the Aba Ngwa youths agreed to certain conditions, one of which required Mcee Sweet to issue a public apology through media channels.

As part of this settlement, Mcee Sweet sent a formal apology letter to MagicFM, which will be discussed in detail on their upcoming political show. In his apology, Mcee Sweet expressed deep regret for his previous statements and acknowledged the harm caused by his unfounded accusations.

"I sincerely apologize to the Ngwa community for my regrettable utterances," said Mcee Sweet. "I understand the impact of my words and take full responsibility for the distress they caused."

The apology marks a significant step towards reconciliation between Mcee Sweet and the Aba Ngwa community, highlighting the importance of responsible content creation and the potential consequences of spreading misinformation.
