Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, delivered a profound message to his congregation on Sunday, focusing on the transformative power of faith in meeting life’s challenges.
In his sermon titled “The Bible: A Most Reliable Guide to Life,” Oyedepo underscored the significance of trusting in God’s word for solutions to life’s complexities.
Addressing claims of financial mismanagement and personal sustenance, Oyedepo affirmed, “I have never misappropriated church funds, nor has my family ever prayed for provisions. The scriptures assure us that every sincere need finds its answer in Jesus.”
Reflecting on his own experience, he cited Luke 10:7, displayed on the church’s screens: “Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.”
“I have never had to pray for daily sustenance in my family. The ‘five loaves and two fishes’ have always been more than sufficient,” he added firmly, emphasizing his commitment to integrity in financial matters.

Oyedepo also shared insights from the book “Reach Out for the Light” on fostering church growth amidst challenges, urging the congregation to embrace spiritual principles for sustainable expansion.
Closing with John 6:63, he reminded listeners, “The spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.”
