  Politics   The lawmaker representing Obingwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly and winner of the Abia South All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial District primary election, Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu, has expressed appreciation to members of the party in the constituency and assured them of quality representation in Abuja.  According to results announced by the Chairman of 2026 Senatorial Primary Election Committee, which was also handed over to Hon. Erondu in Umuahia on Thursday by the returning officer Cishak, he scored  15,982 votes to emerge as the winner, with his closest rival, Dr Blessing Nwagba, scoring 4,556 votes, while Prince Paul Ikonne and Honourable Nyerere Anyim scored 4,322 and 4,022 votes, respectively.  The APC Senatorial candidate for Abia South also assured his constituents of his readiness to continue his empowerment programmes and deliver better quality representation in the red chambers.  Speaking at h...
