Gov Ikpeazu felicitates with Ochendo on the occasion of his birthday today.

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu through his chief press secretary, Barr Onyebuchi Ememanka, has sent a warm message of congratulations to the Senator representing Abia Central at the 9th Senate and immediate past Governor of Abia State, Distinguished Senator Theodore Ahamefule Orji popularly OCHENDO GLOBAL, following the occasion of his birthday today.


Governor Ikpeazu who doubles as the Senatorial candidate of the PDP for Abia south senatorial zone, described Sen T.A Orji as a distinguished Nigerian statesman, political leader of note, whose record of service from his days in the Civil Service remain chronicle of dedication and excellent service.


The Governor notes with gratitude to God, the fact that Ochendo has remained strong, healthy and alert even as he continues to intervene in critical issues that affect our country and state, both as a serving Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as a former Governor of Abia State.


Governor Ikpeazu notes particularly that this birthday will be Ochendo’s last in active political service, noting further that the Senator, voluntarily chose to retire from politics upon the conclusion of his current tenure at the Senate.


Dr Ikpeazu described the moves as one that has cemented the place of Ochendo in the hall of fame of outstanding political leaders of our land.


The Governor, on behalf his family, Abia Government and People of Abia State, wished Senator Orji a beautiful birthday and prays the Almighty God to continue to grant Ochendo many more years of service to humanity.
