U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles beat Italy to advance to knockout rounds | #NwokeukwuMascot

The Flying Eagles are through to the Round of 16 of the on-going FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina after trouncing Italy 2-0 in Mendoza.

Nigeria’s goals came in the second half of the encounter through Lawal Salem Fago (61st minute) and Sunday Jude (95th minute).

With the win over the Europeans, Ladan Bosso’s boys are through to the knockout rounds, and with a game to spare, having beaten Dominican Republic 2-1 in their opening game.
