Confusion in Abia CSDP, Following Another Otti’s Erroneous Appointment by PUO | #NwokeukwuMascot

Governor Alex C. Otti, There is another error made in the directive on Abia State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDP)

The attention of the  Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti should immediately be drawn to the brewing crises at the Abia State   Community and Social Development Project (CSDA) over the announcement of Pst Uka Ndu Igwe as the acting General Manager.

Pst Uka Ndu Igwe is not the most senior staff of that agency but Mr Ekpo Ekejiuba.

You will recall that on the 30th Of May 2023, The Governor via a statement made by Ferdinand Ekeoma his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity announced the dissolution of all heads and boards of the state government, he went further to direct the dissolved heads to hand over to the most senior staff.

In respect to that announcement, the immediate past General manager Dr Chinatu Njoku handed over to Mr Ekpo Ekejiuba, he is the most senior staff and the Director of Finance and Administration of the agency.

It was shocking, for the Governor to issue another statement directing an individual Pst Uka Ndu Igwe, who is not the most senior staff of the agency to take over.

Just today Tuesday 6th June 2023,the two men clashed at the agency as the most senior staff Mr Ekpo Ekejiuba insisted that the instruction of the Governor was for the most senior staff of the agency to take over, while Pst Uka Ndu Igwe claimed that he was specifically mentioned to assume the role of acting General Manager, faction has already been created with offices locked up, the government can verify this information.

I do not want to believe that Governor Alex Otti know about these things, he must have been gossiped and misinformed by desperate civil servants who wants to curry favour from him, he must be very weary about them.

Pst Uka Ndu Igwe is currently the acting Manager of Livelihood Support office which has not even been confirmed, he is not the most senior staff of the Abia Community and Social Development Agency, the Governor should review his directives to ensure there is no breakdown of law and order.

I also want the Governor to know that he is the Executive Governor, nobody can flout his directives, the first directives was enough, there was no need personalizing it to an individual, civil servants know who is the most senior in their midst.

It is understandable that as a new Government, there are bound to be mistake, nobody is above correction, the governor should intervene and save that agency imminent anger from the World Bank because there is currently an ongoing project which funds has been released by the world bank, of infighting is noticed by them, they may cancel it.

    It's a simple solution, most senior officer until permenent appointment is announced.
