Asari Dokubo who was earlier Reported to have paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Aso Rock Villa was quoted to have told the newly sworn in president not regard calls to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who was illegally renditioned to Nigeria from Kenya and kept under solitary confinement for over two year was unconditionally discharged and acquitted by a court of law last year following his abuse of human rights by government authorities.

The eX Niger-Delta Militant and former pipeline security accused Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of the killings of Nigeria youths during the ENDSARS( protest against police brutality in 2020).

The self determination Organization, Indigenous people of Biafra in a statement issued by their media and publicity secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful responding to Asari’s statement said that He was using Mazi Nnamdi Kanu name to negotiate for a pipeline security contract.

The statement by Emma powerful reads in full : “From Freedom Fighter to Bunkering Militant; From Militant to Ex-Militant; From Ex-Millitant to Oil Pipeline Guard; From Pipeline Guard to Biafra Agitator; From Agitator to Ex-Agitator; From Ex-Agitator to Political Thug; From Thuggery to Government Informant.

“Wash a Pig, cloth a Pig, a Pig will always remain a Pig. Those campaigning for the continuous detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in DSS solitary confinement forgot that militancy for monetary gains are in the same category as criminals and terrorists. IPOB is not in the league  of militants and oil pipeline guards. IPOB  stand for freedom for Biafrans including those on oil pipeline security guards for the oppressors.

“It’s unfortunate that those who are supposed to be in the decision making of the oil explorations in their region  are guarding the oil pipelines for the oppressors and their children.

“The oil producing communites in Niger Delta are in ruin while the revenue from the oil are used to develop and enrich the Northern oligarchy. While the Northern oligarchy overseas the explorations, marketing and looting of the proceeds from the oil, Niger Delta youths are contracted to protect the oil pipelines and infrastructures. These muronic Northern slaves are bent on killing each other for the oil pipeline contracts. In the same way they are bent on sabotaging those fighting to liberate them from decades of slavery.

“The criminals using IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi KANU illegal detention to look for oil guard contract in Aso Rock Abuja should be guided. Mazi Nnamdi KANU has not destroyed any oil infrastructure nor has he killed any one. He was neither part of Nigeria youths that started the protest against brutal police SARS during #ENDSARS protest like one insatiable greedy creek pig alleged.

“Cajoling IPOB leader cannot secure you contract instead that will bring you down. A niconpoo who can’t stand before Mazi Nnamdi KANU anywhere in the world will use the name of Mazi to buy favour. In a sane society, such people would have been in jail, but Nigeria is a country where thugs, terrorists and militants are respected and rewarded better than University Professors.

“We have two sets of militants in Niger Delta. Some are fighting for resource countrol to better their region while some are fighting to enrich themselves through Government sponsored oil contract and bunkering as the region is exploited. IPOB are not in the same mission with any of the militant groups. IPOB headed by Mazi Nnamdi KANU is fighting for total emancipation and independence of Biafra where Biafra resources will be controlled by and used for the Biafrans.

“Therefore, IPOB calls on brothers and sisters in coastal part of Biafra (the so called South South) not to allow some greedy and selfish Fulani puppets keep them on perpetual slavery. The match for Biafra is sacrosanct and those who want freedom will join the wagon while there is still time.

“We are cautioning those campaigning for continuous illegal detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be ware of dangers ahead. Mazi Nnamdi KANU is the only innocent political prisoner in Nigeria because of ethnic profiling and prejudice. He has not committed any crime known to local and international laws. Nigeria Government must released him unconditionally as ordered by the Courts or risk paying the price of disobedience to laws.

“Irrespective of calls from criminals and stomach infrastructure agitators, Nigeria Government understands the rules of engagement and must abide by it as a democratic country.”
