Former Super Eagles, Enyimba, ABS, and Abia Warriors player Bright Esieme has passed away. The Obingwa-born footballer died in the early hours of today after a brief illness.


Esieme was a talented and dedicated player who left a mark on the Nigerian football scene with his skills and passion for the game. He played for several top clubs in the country, including Enyimba, ABS, and Abia Warriors, and also represented the national team, the Super Eagles, with pride.


The news of Esieme’s passing has come as a shock to many in the football community, who remember him fondly for his contributions to the sport. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, and friend.


Esieme’s legacy will live on through his achievements on the field and the memories he created with his teammates and fans. May he rest in peace.
