Aham Egbulefu Elected as Obingwa PDP Chairman, with Pastor Azubuike and Other Officials Elected as New Executives | #NwokeukwuMascot

Obingwa, Abia State - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Obingwa Local Government Area has ushered in a new era of leadership with the election of Mr. Aham Egbulefu as chairman. The election, celebrated by a broad assembly of party delegates and stakeholders, aimed to establish a cohesive and visionary leadership team to guide the party’s direction in the region.




Mr. Egbulefu, known for his dedication to party ideals and grassroots engagement, assumes the role of chairman, supported closely by Pastor Okechukwu Azubuike Samuel, who was elected as vice chairman. Alongside them, Chigozie Joshua was elected as secretary, further strengthening the organizational structure with his administrative expertise.




The new leadership team also includes Hon. Mrs. Ijeoma Ngozi, elected as woman leader, tasked with championing the interests of female party members and promoting their active participation in local governance. Hon. Young Onyenkwere was elected as auditor, overseeing the financial accountability of the party’s operations, while Hon. Uchemadu Nwanmuo steps into the role of organizing secretary to coordinate grassroots mobilization efforts effectively.




Further solidifying the executive lineup, Ugochukwu Nwangwa was elected as treasurer, managing the party’s financial assets and ensuring fiscal transparency. The team is rounded out with Chief Anyaso Ugorji, Ngozi Onyendi, Ikechukwu Ihejirika, and Emmanuel Ekwurundu, all elected as ex officio members, bringing a wealth of experience and community insights to the table.

In their respective roles, the newly elected executives have committed to fostering unity, transparency, and inclusive growth within the party. Mr. Egbulefu expressed his gratitude to party members for the confidence vested in him and the new executives, promising a renewed focus on building stronger community ties and advancing the PDP’s vision in Obingwa.




Party stakeholders have voiced optimism that this leadership team, led by Mr. Egbulefu, will bring fresh energy and strategic direction to the PDP in Obingwa, reinforcing its influence and readiness for upcoming political challenges.
