You see in this life eh, there are people who will come into your life and everything will just scatter!
Senator Darlington Nwokocha is a good man and a jolly good fellow. A kind guy who looks out for his brothers and a committed politician whose career blossomed before our very eyes. I am a recipient of the kindness of Darloo. Apart from personally honoring every single invitation I extended to him, Darloo had one habit of ensuring that he gives me some money whenever we met at events. It became a tradition for him and naturally, I looked forward to seeing him and he never missed doing it. Not even for once.
Ururu Aja doesn't forget those who show him kindness.
For 16 straight years, Darloo was in the limelight of legislative politics, spending 8 years in the Abia State House of Assembly representing Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency and another 8 years at the House of Representatives where he spoke for the people of Isiala Ngwa South/Isiala Ngwa North Federal Constituency. Under the PDP, Darloo blossomed and shone like a million bright stars.
Then politics happened and Darloo chose to work with Otti!
He was elected Senator for Abia Central under the Labor Party. But that was shortlived as Darloo was sacked from the Senate by the Court of Appeal. For the first time in his political career, Darloo was kicked out of office by a Court.
Darloo, our Say Darloo, was now left with doing FOLLOW FOLLOW for Governor Otti. Chai! A whole Darlo was now accompanying Otti to events. Honestly, the thing pained me.
The one that pained me most was the day Otti invited Lagos Governor, Sanwo Olu to come and commissioned some streets at Abayi behind Ngwa High School. When the Lagos man heard from Akpor men like Eke O Akpor that what he was coming to commission was the kind of projects that Councillors execute in Lagos, the man dodged the event and till today, we have not heard anything from Ferdinand Ekeoma about the absence of the Lagos Governor at that event.
Fear that Scotland man o!
After waiting endlessly for Sanwo Olu, Otti now asked Darloo to pretend to commission the road. Chai! My own Say Darloo now eats leftover food?
As if that wasn't enough, Otti went and set up one illegal contraption which he called the Labor Party Interim National Executive with former PDP Senator, Nenadi Usman as Chairman and Say Darloo as Secretary. I said ok o, at least, let my man be busy.
Now just yesterday, Justice Polycarp Nwite of an Abuja Federal High Court ruled that Mr Abure is the authentic National Chairman of Labor Party.
Otti was told by the Court in no mistaken terms that a political party is not the same thing as a branch of Signature Bank where he can wake up and kick out people from office at his whims.
What pains me the most is that, yet again, Darloo, my beloved brother, has been kicked out again from the small one he is managing.
Ever since Darloo entered into this alliance with Otti, it's been from one problem to another! Nsogbu and Mmekpahu back to back!
Hekena obunu ngiri eh?
See, in this life eh, pray to God to save you from certain alliances because they will just mess you up. Tufiakwa!
Say Darloo, Dede m, Dimkpa Asato, Nwoko Obioma, Ohuru Umunne ya, hiawa! Tasie nu wo, la amaghm ebe ngwere kena hie, gbabara anyi la ihi agwu wo!
I remain your beloved brother,
©️UruruAja.
