Aba, Abia State – The Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Shares, Mr. James Martins, was abducted by heavily armed men on Thursday, December 5, 2024. The incident, which has left the community in shock, occurred around 2 p.m. at his residence in the Umuocham area of the city.




According to eyewitness accounts, the assailants stormed the neighborhood in broad daylight, firing sporadically into the air to create chaos and fear. Amid the panic, they forcibly took Mr. Martins to an undisclosed location, leaving residents and onlookers horrified.




As of the time of this report, the abductors have yet to establish contact with Mr. Martins’ family. The lack of communication has heightened fears about his safety and well-being, as his family and the local community remain on edge.




Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident and are urging members of the public with any useful information to come forward. Authorities have also provided a dedicated hotline—09167118290—for anyone with details that could assist in locating Mr. Martins and apprehending the perpetrators.




This latest abduction adds to growing concerns over security in Aba and the state at large, with residents calling on authorities to intensify efforts to safeguard lives and properties.
