Easter: Abia Lawmaker Erondu Jnr Felicitates With Christian Faithful, Urges Compassion and Hope Amid Hardship | #NwokeukwuMascot

The Chairman of the House Committee on Public Service in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has extended heartfelt Easter greetings to Christians across Abia State and beyond, encouraging them to embrace the values of agape love, sacrifice, and renewed hope exemplified by the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ.




In a goodwill message issued by his spokesperson, George Egejuru, and made available to newsmen, the lawmaker described Easter as a sacred period of reflection and spiritual rejuvenation. He urged Christians, especially his constituents in Obingwa-West State Constituency, to use the season as an opportunity for sober reflection and to draw strength from the enduring message of Christ’s resurrection.




“As we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, I urge us to reflect on His selfless love and sacrifice,” Erondu Jnr stated. “Now more than ever, we must extend compassion to one another and remain hopeful. There is light at the end of the tunnel.”




Amid the nation’s current economic and social challenges, Erondu Jnr called for fervent prayers for Nigeria, seeking divine intervention to address the growing hardship and widespread poverty confronting many citizens.




The former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area and one-time Director of Enyimba Football Club also used the opportunity to thank his constituents for their unwavering support, trust, and belief in his leadership.





He reassured them of his continuous commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy, leveraging every available opportunity and resource to improve the welfare and well-being of the people of Obingwa-West.




“As your representative, I remain steadfast in my mission to attract meaningful development and improve lives. Your support inspires me to do more,” he added.




The Uhie-born legislator concluded his message by praying for God’s blessings upon his constituents and wishing all a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually fulfilling Easter celebration.
