Aba Multi-Specialist Hospital: Full List of Equipment Revealed as Otti Faces Fresh Accountability Call | #NwokeukwuMascot

Full List of Materials Deployed At Multi-Specialist Hospital Aba by John Okiyi Kalu | #NwokeukwuMascot

A specialist medical doctor (MD) is someone who concentrates primarily in a specific area of patient healthcare. They focus on providing care for specific diseases or injuries instead of the wide spectrum of services rendered by general hospitals. This improves efficiency and cost effectiveness and helps maximise resources.

For instance, the human body has nine systems, each needing a surgeon or physician to manage it. So, if we are to have an efficient healthcare system in our dear state, Abia, we need a minimum of 18 specialist hospitals. This was the thinking of Governor Ikpeazu then.

It is important to state that a medical needs assessment was conducted by a team put together by the Ikpeazu administration that identified some health burdens in Aba in particular. They specifically noted the rising cases of kidney failure among others. So, it became necessary to establish a good multi-specialist hospitals with 20 dialysis units, among others, to take care of our people.

In Umuahia, with a population that is almost half that of Aba, there are 3 major specialist hospitals and one general hospital, whereas Aba has only the Teaching Hospital and a General Hospital that was abandoned long before the emergence of the Ikpeazu administration.

The multi-specialist hospital established by Ikpeazu is a 100-bed facility with male, female, and paedatric wards as well as special suites for high-end patients. High-end diagnostic equipment, including ultra-sound and CT-scans, imported brand-new from the manufacturers, were installed. A mobile clinic attached to the Multi-Specialist Hospital was also handed over to Governor Otti.

I have attached the list of equipment and supplies procured and installed by the Ikpeazu administration at the multi-specialist hospital he constructed in Aba.  By doing this, I am also alerting Abians that those materials are available to support their good health and well-being. Alex Otti’s administration must protect, preserve and deploy the equipment to work for our people because he took an oath of office to do that.

See pictures of the equipments below šŸ‘‡šŸ½

I also encourage all Abians to save the attached list of equipment supplied to the multi-specialist hospital in Aba as handed over to Governor Alex Otti. Whether he converts it to a General or heavenly hospital, all those facilities should be there for the use of our people. Those requiring dialysis, ultra-sound scans, etc, should visit and make use of what taxpayers' money provided for the use of the people through former Governor Ikpeazu.

Ndi Abia, that hospital and everything in it belongs to YOU. Not Dr Ikpeazu or Alex Otti.

If any listed item is missing, kindly hold Governor Alex Otti responsible because he took an oath on May 29th, 2023, to protect the life and properties of Ndi Abia. We can’t continue to excise the vengeful and bitter spirit of Alex Otti that propels him into acting against the interest and common good of our people. Enough should be enough now!!!
