The Ngwa Rangers have congratulated the Immediate Past Governor of Abia State and respected Ukwa-Ngwa political leader, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, on his nomination as a Non-Career Ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the appointment as both well-deserved and strategically appropriate.



In a statement personally signed by Kingsley Ihesiaba, Public Relations Officer of Ngwa Rangers, the group described Dr. Ikpeazu’s nomination as “a round peg in a round hole,” noting that his vast administrative experience, strong diplomatic temperament, and long-standing commitment to national development make him an excellent choice for the prestigious role.



According to the statement, the nomination is not only a recognition of Dr. Ikpeazu’s leadership capacity but also a reaffirmation of the confidence President Tinubu continues to show toward the people of the Ngwa nation.



“The Ngwa Rangers extend their warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Immediate Past Governor of Abia State and Ukwa-Ngwa Political Leader, on his nomination as a Non-Career Ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.



“This nomination is a fitting tribute to Dr. Ikpeazu’s exceptional leadership, dedication to public service, and commitment to national development. It is indeed a round peg in a round hole, as his vast experience and expertise perfectly suit this prestigious role.



“We commend President Tinubu for finding Dr. Ikpeazu worthy to represent Nigeria as a Special Envoy. This appointment reflects the President’s astute judgment and recognition of Dr. Ikpeazu’s capabilities.”



Ngwa Rangers further applauded President Tinubu for his consistent support for the Ukwa-Ngwa bloc, citing the recent appointment of Mr. Obinna Eze Oriaku as the Federal Commissioner representing Abia State in the Federal Character Commission as another clear demonstration of the President’s fairness and goodwill.



“Mr. President has shown genuine love to our people, and as a nation known for gratitude, we assure him that we will reciprocate in due course,” the statement added.



The group extended its best wishes to Dr. Ikpeazu as he prepares to take on this new national assignment, expressing confidence that he will represent Nigeria with dignity, competence, and distinction.
