The Abia State Pdp’s candidate for Obingwa West State, Uhie Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly in the 2023 general election, Elder Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has described Enyinnaya Appollos, former Chief Press Secretary to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, as a worthy son of Ngwa Land.

Elder Erondu stated this on Saturday in his birthday message to the former CPS, He partly said “Appollos has contributed immensely in promoting the Ngwa course and reshaping the political spectrum of Obingwa and beyond”.

The philanthropist prayed God to cloth Enyinnaya Appollos with good health to continue to serve as source of inspiration to the younger generation, saying,"It is interesting that many youths in Obingwa and beyond look up to you for guidance and mentorship."

   News     File Image  Following numerous allegations against Mrs. Nwankego Onyeukwu, the Acting Director of Nursing Services at the Ministry of Health, Abia State, regarding her alleged extortion of prospective and current nursing students. The complain of Concerned parent Forum (for School of Nursing and Midwifery in Abia) which was directed to Gov. Alex Otti and copied to security agencies across the state, prompted the investigation which was stalled by Mrs. Nwankego's non-appearance leading to her arrest and detention. Recall that Dr Alex Otti had earlier suspended the former DNS, Mrs Dorothy Njedika Nwosu, and Principals of all the schools of nursing and midwifery in Abia State, subsequently appointing Mrs Nwankego Onyeukwu and others on acting positions.
