AUTO CRASH: Over 18 Passengers burnt beyond recognition In Enugu Highway | #NwokeukwuMascot



No fewer than 18 yet to be identified occupants on a Toyota bus were burnt beyond recognition on Easter eve in a fatal accident along Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway.

The accident occurred at Ituku, Awgu Local Local Government Area of Enugu State at about 8:30pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023.


The ill-fated 18-seater bus, which was travelling from Aba, had a head-on collision with a truck full of blocks, the clash led both vehicles busting into flames.




It was reportedly gathered that the fatal crash was caused by over speed and route violation, locally referred to as ‘One Way’.
