Members of the Ikpeazu Faithfuls has appreciated the almighty God for his grace and mercies on the life of the outgoing Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.

In a statement endorsed by Mr Chibuzo Nwogu, the groups head of admin, made available to PUO reports on Thursday, the group said Dr Ikpeazu will be remembered for his revolutionary leadership.

“We join family, friends, PDP faithfuls in Abia & Nigeria at large, Patriots in Abia and Nigeria, Academics, Captains of industries, Socio- Political, Religious and traditional leaders and their institutions etc to thank God Almighty for the life of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, Governor of Abia State from 2015-2023”

“The outgoing Governor’s administration heralded lots of evolutionary developments in Abia state in almost all sectors of Abia economy ranging from Sports, SME, Youth Development, infrastructural revolution, trade and investment, Security of lives and properties.

“His eight years of service to NDI ABIA shall be remembered in the annals of Abia history for his visionary leadership”

“Therefore, we call on all men and women of goodwill to continue in thanking God for his life and achievements in office as Governor of Abia State as he sojourn into another face of his historic life”

“On behalf of the FAITHFULS, I appreciate your servant and loving leadership to Abians. We all shall miss you, Dear Governor Ikpeazu” the statement concluded.

The complain of Concerned parent Forum (for School of Nursing and Midwifery in Abia) which was directed to Gov. Alex Otti and copied to security agencies across the state, prompted the investigation which was stalled by Mrs. Nwankego's non-appearance leading to her arrest and detention. Recall that Dr Alex Otti had earlier suspended the former DNS, Mrs Dorothy Njedika Nwosu, and Principals of all the schools of nursing and midwifery in Abia State, subsequently appointing Mrs Nwankego Onyeukwu and others on acting positions.
