Unidentified gunmen have abducted Professor Godwin Emezue, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Abia State University Uturu (ABSU), in a shocking incident that took place at a filling station in Umuekwule, Amachara, Umuahia South Local Government Area.
Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the esteemed university professor and his wife had stopped at the fuel station to refill their tank when they were approached by at least three armed men. The assailants forcefully seized Prof. Emezue and forcibly placed him inside a waiting Lexus SUV. To make matters worse, they also took his wife's ATM card before swiftly fleeing the scene.
