PDP Chairman Appoints Special Advisers on Media and Legal Affairs Following NWC's Caretaker Committee Announcement | #NwokeukwuMascot

Following the recent announcement by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) regarding the appointment of a Caretaker Committee for the Abia State Chapter, the committee’s chairman, Rt. Hon. Alwell Asiforo Okere, has made strategic appointments to further strengthen the party in the state. 






In a press release captioned, “Appointment of Special Advisers on Media Matters and Legal Affair” Rt. Hon. Okere announced the appointment of Mr. Jude Ndukwe as Special Adviser on Media Matters and Chief Henry Balogu Esq as Special Adviser on Legal Affairs, highlighting their critical roles in rebranding and guiding the PDP’s activities in Abia State during this transitional period.




His words: “It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Mr Jude Ndukwe as Special Adviser on Media Matters and Chief Henry Balogu Esq as Special Adviser on Legal Matters to the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP Abia State Chapter. 







Okere emphasized that Mr. Ndukwe’s extensive background in media and communication would enhance the party’s public outreach. On Chief Balogu’s appointment, the chairman pointed out that his expertise in legal matters is essential to safeguard the party’s interests.





He continued, “Both Mr. Ndukwe and Chief Balogu bring a wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to our party, which will be invaluable as we embark on our journey to rebrand and strengthen the PDP in Abia State. 








“Mr. Ndukwe’s extensive background in media relations and communication strategy will enhance our outreach and engagement with the public, ensuring that our message resonates effectively across all platforms. 








“Chief Balogu, with his deep understanding of legal frameworks and party governance, will provide critical guidance and support in navigating the legal landscape to safeguard our party’s interests.”






Rt. Hon. Okere reiterated his confidence in the appointees, calling on party members and stakeholders to support the new advisers as they work to strengthen the PDP under the NWC’s mandate. 






I am confident that their expertise and dedication will significantly contribute to reshaping the narrative of the PDP in Abia State, fostering unity, and driving our collective vision forward. Together, we will work towards a more vibrant and progressive party that truly represents the aspirations of our people.

This move comes after the NWC constituted the Abia State PDP Caretaker Committee to oversee the party's affairs for a period not exceeding 90 days, ensuring a smooth transition until a new executive committee is elected.
