The GOTNI Leadership Centre has unveiled a stellar lineup of speakers for its 2025 National Leadership Conference, themed “Transforming Minds, Inspiring Results.” The two-day event, scheduled to hold from September 5–6, 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, promises to be a landmark gathering of global thought leaders and changemakers.



Leading the pack is former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a statesman renowned for his enduring commitment to Africa’s development. Obasanjo, who recently launched the Olusegun Obasanjo Leadership Institute to reclaim Africa’s leadership narrative, will share deep insights drawn from decades of governance and international engagement.



Joining him is Engr. Obi Uzu, a respected business leader and advocate for youth empowerment. Uzu is celebrated for his investments in building future leaders, consistently emphasizing the readiness of young people to take up transformational roles in governance and enterprise.



Also on the distinguished speakers’ list is Prof. Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba, the celebrated Kenyan lawyer, scholar, and pan-African activist. A globally recognized voice for accountability and transformational leadership, Lumumba is expected to deliver a thought-provoking address on Africa’s path to renewal.



Adding a diplomatic edge to the conference is Ambassador Gautier Mignot, the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS. Mignot has played a pivotal role in deepening EU-Nigeria relations in trade, investment, and sustainable development, bringing a wealth of experience in leadership and diplomacy to the forum.




According to the GOTNI Leadership Centre, the conference seeks to inspire a new generation of leaders, foster collaboration between Africans at home and in the diaspora, and entrench a leadership culture that drives socio-economic transformation across the continent.



With its high-caliber speakers and transformative agenda, the 2025 National Leadership Conference is set to be a defining platform for shaping Africa’s future leadership and development trajectory.
