Abia Lawmaker, Erondu Jnr Celebrates Former Governor Ikpeazu at 61, Hails Him as a Visionary Leader | #NwokeukwuMasclt

The member representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has joined family, friends, and political associates to celebrate the former Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, on the occasion of his 61st birthday.





In a goodwill message signed by his spokesperson, George Egejuru, and made available to newsmen, Hon. Erondu Jnr described Dr. Ikpeazu as a visionary leader, scholar, and true statesman whose life is defined by humility, intellect, and a deep commitment to service and humanity.




The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, lauded the former governor for his transformational leadership between 2015 and 2023, noting that his administration left enduring imprints in infrastructure renewal, economic empowerment, and human capital development.




According to him, “Dr. Ikpeazu’s Made-in-Aba Initiative did not only revive local enterprise but also projected the ingenuity and resilience of the Abia spirit to the global stage.”




Hon. Erondu Jnr, who served as the Senior Special Adviser to the former Governor on General Duties, commended Dr. Ikpeazu’s calm disposition, analytical mind, and inclusive leadership style, which, he said, fostered unity and participatory governance across the state.




“Even beyond public office, Dr. Ikpeazu continues to inspire through his commitment to community service, education, youth empowerment, and leadership mentorship,” he added.




The legislator prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, and wisdom upon the former governor as he marks this new milestone, describing him as “a leader whose legacy of vision, humility, and people-centered governance will continue to inspire generations of Abians.”
