Hon. Lewis Obianyi Defects To Labour Party, Announces Move On Abia Assembly Floor | #NwokeukwuMascot

Hon. Lewis Obianyi, the member representing Ukwa East State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has officially defected to the Labour Party.



The lawmaker announced his decision from the People’s Democratic Party to the Labour Party during plenary on the floor of the House, where his letter of defection was formally read and acknowledged by the Assembly leadership.



Obianyi’s defection adds a fresh twist to the evolving political dynamics within the Abia legislature, as realignments continue to reshape party strength ahead of future political contests in the state.
