  News   Umuahia, Abia State — The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia State Chapter has announced the immediate and indefinite suspension of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Abia South Senatorial Zone in the National Assembly, over alleged anti-party activities. The suspension, which took effect on Friday, September 26, 2025, was conveyed through a resolution of the State Executive Committee (SEC) of APGA in Abia. The party accused Abaribe of gross misconduct, disobedience to party directives, and actions that have allegedly brought APGA into disrepute. In a letter signed by the State Secretary, Pastor Peter Nduka, APGA said Senator Abaribe’s suspension followed resolutions reached during its SEC meeting in Umuahia.
