News The Arochukwu Equity Forum (AEF), a coalition of concerned stakeholders drawn from Ututu , Ihechiowa, Isu , Arochukwu, and Abam communities in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, has called for an end to what it described as “Abam’s 28-year political monopoly” over the Arochukwu State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly . In a statement signed by its Chairman, Chief Nicholas U. Kalu, and Secretary, Lady Nnuona Okereke Izougu, and made available to journalists by the group public relations officer, Hon Anselem Udoka on Sunday, the Forum decried the long-standing imbalance and lack of equity in the political representation of the constituency, stressing that power rotation among the five clans remains the only path to fairness and peace.
